Network adapter is unable to find Wi-Fi networks in monitor mode
My wireless network adapter is not working properly in monitor mode. In managed mode it works perfectly: finds networks, connects to home network. But if I'm using monitor mode and try to find any networks with airodump-ng wlp3s0mon
(where wlp3s0mon is my wireless interface in monitor mode) - it shows an empty table. Same happens with another test:
# aireplay-ng --test wlp3s0mon
22:32:44 Trying broadcast probe requests...
22:32:46 No Answer...
22:32:46 Found 0 APs
I tried to change adapter's mode by airmon-ng start wlp3s0
and by
ifconfig wlp3s0 down
iwconfig wlp3s0 mode monitor
ifconfig wlp3s0 up
But it doesn't help.
I also tried to enter a channel: airmon-ng start wlp3s0 9
but it still doesn't work.
Also my system is:
# uname -r
4.19.13-300.fc29.x86_64
networking wireless-networking laptop fedora network-adapter

My wireless network adapter chipset is: Qualcomm Atheros QCA6174 802.11ac Wireless Network Adapter (rev 32) Driver: ath10k_pci I checked and it's compatible with monitor mode.
