How to set Anki backup directory to one previously on Dropbox?

0

I've dual-booted Ubuntu with my Windows OS because for multiple softwares I need both of them. Also, I use Anki very much so on Windows I followed an instruction and synced its backup folder with my Dropbox, now I'm on Ubuntu and I want the SAME Anki backup directory to be synced with my Dropbox on Ubuntu too, I'm a bit confused, all the guides just tell how I can sync one of my directories on Ubuntu with Dropbox, but I want the pre-existing directory on my Dropbox(now downloaded to my Ubuntu after syncing with my Dropbox) to be used as the Anki backup directory and be somehow "flagged" to synced automatically with my Dropbox(just as is with my Windows OS). I could use some ways by trial and error because I've not mastered Linux and Ubuntu but it's risky I may lose my data so I'm asking here for help. I'll be really grateful.
