Ubuntu setup not taking input after few seconds

0

I am having Acer Nitro AN515-52 laptop, it is a Windows OEM laptop with UEFI. I am trying to install Ubuntu , but the problem I am facing is that , after 10-15 seconds, the ubuntu setup does not take any input from touchpad or keyboard. The "Select" option is highlighted, I can move my cursor by touchpad but when I try to click on "Select" button, nothing happens. So within those 10 seconds only ,I can proceed as ahead as possible ,which is sometime on selecting keyboard layout or wifi setting. Can anyone please help me. I would like to clarify that I did the following:-

  • changing touchpad option from Advanced to basic.

  • diabling safe boot

  • uninstalling nvidia drivers

  • changing quiet splash to nomodeset.

Any assistance would be appreciated.
