How to use Screen while a script is running?

0

I can´t use screen while a script is running.
Always I do the combination ctrl+a+d without the script it detaches, but if I use it while the script is running it outputs ^A and does not detach

Have you tried running script in background instead of foreground?

  • Thanks, now I can detach it, but the script will automaticly stop and there is the output: These jobs are stopped and logout.

  • It seems the script isn't running in background but goes in Suspended state. Which approach are you following to run script in background?
