ubuntu 18.04 with RTX2080 Ti can't poweroff
My problem is almost the same as this:Ubuntu16.04.3 Kernel Panic Error which is not solved.
My computer is Dell Alienware R7 8700K with EVGA RTX2080Ti black edition.
I installed Win10 and ubuntu 18.04 in different SSD(Ubuntu is installed on Samsung 970 EVO Plus)successfully. Everything worked OK until I installed the 415 driver through PPA. I found that I can't poweroff my ubuntu.
If I connect my screen to the RTX2080ti using HDMI:
Sometimes, the screen was freezing with the error message: end Kernel panic - not syncing: Fatal exception in interrupt, and sometimes, the screen is black and the computer can't be turned off.
If I connect my screen to the GPU within the 8700K CPU:
The screen is freezing with the logo of ubuntu and the computer can't be turned off.
Does anyone have encountered this problem before, thanks for telling me how to solve this problem.

I can use the "reboot" command to reboot my computer but I can't use "poweroff" or "shutdown now" to turn off it.
