Why does my Jupyter Notebook not open when launched from anaconda prompt

0

I've been trying to open a Jupyter notebook from the Anaconda navigator, but whereas a launchbar started showing up for a few seconds, nothing opened. Then I decided to use the Anaconda prompt itself to open the Jupyter notebook. This gives me the following result. It shows that I have to open a file in a browser, but shouldn't there be a way that it automatically opens?

Anaconda output for jupyter notebook

  • Just as a comment, in my experience, the behavior at the command line is normal for Jupyter Notebook.
