Ubuntu 16.04 LTS video driver not working

Multi tool use
I'm new to Linux world so some questions/statements might look stupid from your perspective, sorry in advance.
I need to test Zabbix, there is already preconfigured Hyper-V VM from zabbix.com which I'm running on Windows Hyper-V 2012R2.
Its difficult for me to handle all the things from command line, so I'd like to install GUI for it.
First I installed integration tools for ubuntu from Git.
Than I installed ubuntu-desktop
, however no GUI appears even if I use startx
.
Display is detected as Hyper-V virtual VGA. Driver for it is hyperv_fb
. This is from lshw
output.
I've tried adding a RemoteFX 3D Video Adapter to Vthe M, but after this the VM did not boot and I was not even able to enter a tty.
I've tried changing from lightdm
to gdm3
, no changes.
It's the same written to /var/lib/gdm3/.local/share/xorg/Xorg.0.log
and syslog
No ideas what to do with this... Any help will be appreciated...
