Is there any way to make ubuntu use the interface name automatically from kernel during kickstart?

Ubuntu 16.04 automated installation gives error, which I suppose is due to different interface names given depending on the hardware.

The kickstart configuration :

# Network information
network --bootproto=dhcp --device=ens160

Relevant output, including the complete error message and a bit of context, would help us to give you better advice.

  • I get the following error message in /var/log/syslog "getting flags for interface ens160 failed not activating interface"
