Ubuntu Update Manager Shows 737 Updates. What do I do?

0

I just got a computer but when I started it up I noticed it was really slow until it got going, Then the 737 updates popped up, I tried installing them but it shuts down half way through, How can i get these updates updated so my computer can run properly without constantly shutting down?

One thing you can try is in the command line run

          sudo apt-get update
          sudo apt-get upgrade
          sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

Unsure based on the details in your post if you have attempted it, but give this a try to get past this 700 updates problem.
