Toggling netrw in Vim

0

When I open Vim without any open buffer, toggling by using :Lex works well and as expected (opening and closing the file browser on the left side of the screen). The same happens when opening vim with a file as argument, toggling works as expected, but after having opened a file with netrw, the toggle stops working as expected.

When I've entered a file in the previous window, the toggle stops working, and :Lex actually opens a new filebrowser inside the already opened filebrowser. The behavior is the same no matter in which window the cursor is positioned.
I attach a screenshot to illustrate better:

My netrw settings in .vimrcare the following:

let g:netrw_banner = 0
let g:netrw_liststyle = 3
let g:netrw_browse_split = 4
let g:netrw_altv = 1
let g:netrw_winsize = 25
