Windows 10 turning on my secondary hard drive

I have 2 disks in my laptop, one with an OS on it and a secondary HDD just for files. Under linux I need to mount the HDD to make it spin, but on Windows:

  1. I hear beeping when PC goes out of sleep

  2. I may hear beeping randomly

  3. Sometimes it randomly starts to spin for a short time

Is there an option to disable such behavior?
