Davinci Resolve 14 making very loud clipping sound when moving playhead at fast forward speed

0

I am fast forwarding through a video I am editing (J,K,L keys). If I move the playhead somewhere, like a few seconds backwards, it makes a very loud digital static blip sound for a fraction of a second before it starts playing again. This horrible noise is much louder than the audio of the movie itself (which is basically at normal volume). Do you know if there is any way to stop this?

The same problem is described here:
"Possibly related, I've had occasional loud white noise spikes when moving (not scrubbing) the playhead, either by up/down arrow or mouse. Not fun with headphones on."
https://forum.blackmagicdesign.com/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=69733

Thank you so much for your help.
