About volume shadow copy in Disk2vhd
Because I have to create a copy of my unit with Disk2vhd I was reading a bit about Volume Shadow Copy to understand it better.
As I understand it, Volume Shadow Copy allows you to make backup copies ensuring that while it is being done, the content that is being copied does not change or be blocked. Is this correct?
To do this, does Windows store the information in a temporary space of the memory until the backup ends?
What would happen if I did not activate it during the creation of the copy of the volume?
