Adding application to file explorer ribbon

0

Is it possible to to add an application to the file explorer ribbon, either to an existing contextual tab or a new one. (Circled in Image below)

I know how to add an application to the right click menu, however I wouldn't mind having a application icon within the file explorer and then my program would get the current directory it was opened from.

Application Icon Location

This would be mainly for windows 10 but potentially windows 7 also.
