Ubuntu Core 16 not booting from SD card on Eagleye 530s (Artik5)

0

Sorry for duplicating this question, but I have no other way to add to the other thread!

Please feel free to merge this with the other OP.

I understand how to set the boot switches correctly, but cannot get it to boot from SD or USB flash.
I have the same problem on both the Seeed Eagleye530s and on Samsung's official Artik 5 ('S' 1GB) Development Kit, both of which are using Samsung's 530s module.
Booting the equivalent image (UCore 16) on a Pi 3 (B & B+) works great.

I have checked the prerequisites on this page.

Both systems boot from the pre-installed Ubuntu 14 LTE image on the eMMc and I have been able to update the firmware using a SD card, so I know the card reading and boot switch configuration works!

What makes the other OP think that the images are for 520 only?

Is there any other way to get assistance on this matter?

Damn, can't even create new tags!
