Run on srs vs run on gradle

0

So I have joined an open source project to improve my coding skills, however there is few things I do not understand regarding IntelliJ and gradle.

I can run the Main method of loginServer from the Src file. I have also an option to run it from gradle

See picture

The problem is that the two Run give me a different output, I would like to know what does each one of them do and what is the difference? and how was the gradle run created
