Touch Screen Calibration - Transformation matrix & Overscan
So - I have a machine running a 7" touchscreen and the touch screen is placed behind a smaller 6" opening, I have used overscan to make the screen align with the opening which worked well. But now my problem is trying to calibrate it with the new size!
I have used xinput calibrator - changes nothing.
I then realized that I needed to use a transformation matrix for this - so I followed a wiki article on Arch linux - this changed something but not in the right way!
The screen resolution is 1024 x 600
Overscan:
Left: 60
Right: 60
Top: 60
Bottom: 5
c0 = touch_area_width / total_width
c0 = 904 / 1024
c2 = touch_area_height / total_height
c2 = 535 / 600
c1 = touch_area_x_offset / total_width
c1 = 60 / 1024
c3 = touch_area_y_offset / total_height
c3 = 60 / 600
Can you see anything wrong?
Thank you!
