displaylink-driver-4.4.24.run experienced constant blackout on Ubuntu 18

I have following hardware:

  1. Dell Latitude 7490 laptop

  2. Dell Docking station(displayLink plug and display)

  3. Two Dell displays(P2419H Dell 24 Monitor)

On top of that, I installed Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS; in order to enable dell docking station and dual monitors, I also installed displaylink-driver-4.4.24.run from https://www.displaylink.com/downloads/ubuntu.

After installation, most of time, it works fine. But there is an annoying issue: two dell monitors constantly went blackout without reasons even though I was actively working on the computer without idle time, at that moment, the whole docking station was not working anymore.

To solve the issue, I have to unplug the docking station cable from laptop , then re-plug the docking station cable to laptop. Then the two monitors will restore to original state.

Please advise if it's a driver issue or something else.

Thanks & regards
