How to find out IP of WiFi hotspot I connected to? [on hold]

I am connected to my friend's WiFi hotspot (the hotspot is on a laptop with Windows 10). How can I find out his IP? Is it even possible? I have tried to use Wireshark but I have no idea how it works.

What IP are you trying to retrieve Internal or Public? Why are you using Wireshark, if there are a bunch of other more simple tools for such a simple task?

If I understand the question correctly, your friend has a laptop with an External Internet connection of some sort (cable modem, 4G, etc probably over Ethernet) and is sharing Internet via his wireless adapter.
To find out his laptop's wireless IP address from your wireless device, look in the device's network settings for the "Router". On a Mac, it's System Preferences->Network->WiFi->Advanced->TCP/IP->look for the "Router". I don't have a Windows 10 device with wireless to give the exact GUI steps, but it should be similar.
To find out his laptop's wireless IP address from his own laptop, look in the same place for "IPv4 address".
