Manager CIFS/Windows folder permissions from Linux

0

We are creating CIFS shares from a simple custom Admin Website (hosted on a Ubuntu 18.04 Host running Apache and php)

The shares are located on a NetApp Fileserver and are created via the the respective API call cifs-share-create. This works without any issues.

After creating the share I want to limit access to the share too two specific LDAP/AD groups (read only and read write) everybody else might not have access.

Can somebody help me find a solution on how to set those Share permissions from within my Webserver?

If that's also possible via the NetApp API I'd be happy too, but i did not find anything in the docs.
I am thinking of some php or a python script that could achieve this (but could be anything else aswell, as long as I can execute in on the webserver).

Any Ideas that might point me into the right direction?
