RDC With Restricted Mode Says Disabled When Enabled
I have installed update KB2984291 which enables Restricted Administration Mode on remote connections on my Server 2008 R2. I have set the registry key in
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESystemCurrentControlSetControlLsa
as DisableRestrictedAdmin to 0 which should enable remote connection with restricted. I set in my GPO for my Windows 7 machines to
Computer Configurations > Policies > Administrative Templates > System > Credential Delegation > Restrict Delegation of credential to remote servers = enable
I have done this on all my Server 2008 R2 servers and 1 of them still throwing this error when I connect with my Windows 7 machine:
This PC doesn't support restricted administration mode
I am at a loss at this point. Can anyone tell me what I am missing or why this one machine won't let me remote to it? According to the information posted here by Microsoft I should just be able to make sure the security patch is installed and then set the registry key and I should get in like all the rest. At this point I just continue to get the same error message as before.
