Endnote X9 duplicates page numbers when using in-text temporary citations

0

A reference like (Denison, 1990, p. 22) when converted to an unformatted citation is normally {Denison, 1990 #14@22}.

The problem is when I "Update citations & Bibliography," the page number is duplicated: (Denison, 1990, p. 2222).

If I switch back to "Unformatted citations," it becomes {Denison, 1990 #14@2222}.

Other people complained here, but it seems no solution is available. I'm a third complainer; examples taken from one of them.

  • By the way, I contacted customer support, and they said it is a bug they are working on.
