how to fix broken downloads folder permissions
I was cleaning out my HDD, as it was full in places I dont ever use anymore, and I cleared out a ridiculous amount of ntuser.dat files. what appears to have happened was one of the needed ones was unloaded for a split second at a very unlucky time, and my downloads folder acts like it has no owner. the icon for downloads is missing, I cannot edit it or run programs from my downloads folder. how do I reassign the downloads folder to my account
permissions windows-registry user-accounts file-permissions
