How to fix MacBook keyboard?

0

I have recently acquired an older MacBook and I cannot for the life of me find out a way to fix my shift, function, control, option, command keys that simply won't work, I've tried changing it from MacBook/MacBook Pro to Macintosh using sudo dpkg-reconfigure keyboard-configuration Is there any solution?

Do you mean you installed Ubuntu on it?

  • Bought it, and then installed Ubuntu.

  • Are you sure it's a software issue? Did it do this with MacOS or another OS?

  • Not 100%, but it being software was probably being hopeful. Although I'm sure my left shift was working on MacOS.
