tput not found in MinGW msys 1.0

0

I'm running MinGW on a Windows 10 Computer. I need to use the tput command in a shell script that I am running.

sh-3.1$ where sh
C:MinGWmsys1.0binsh.exe

However when I run tput I get the following message:

sh-3.1$ tput
sh: tput: command not found

I see that tput is part of the ncurses package for MinGW. I've installed that via the MinGW Installation Manager but still tput is not found. Perhaps I need to restart my computer?
