Problem installing mysql - “Can't read dir of '/etc/mysql/conf.d/'”

hello i try to install mysql on ubuntu 16.04 but get this error message

ES1-431:~$ sudo apt-get install mysql-server

mysql-server ya está en su versión más reciente (5.7.24-0ubuntu0.16.04.1).

mysqld: [ERROR] Fatal error in defaults handling. Program aborted!

Once the problem is resolved, run apt-get --fix-broken install to retry.
