Firefox - suppress XML warning message when viewing a XML-file without stylesheet
I created a webapplication, where a user needs to upload a XML-file. I display the uploaded content inside a <iframe>. The XML-tags and the content gets displayed fine though Firefox also prints a warning message above the content:
This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.
The warning message obviously makes sense because there is no stylesheet linked to the file, though I would like to supress this warning message because the sole purpose is to view the XML with Firefox prettyprint-layout.
Is there a possibility to supress this warning message in the Firefox-config?
15-year old bug report: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=254916
For clarification, I know that I could just extract the XML-Tags and print them myself, though I specifically search for a solution which uses Firefox to display a XML-File wihtout this warning message ideally with a change to the Firefox profile (config).
