Using a common access card with a web interface
I'm trying to get a card reader (Gemalto PC Twin Reader) to successfully communicate with firefox. The issue is that my country recently switched to access cards for use in transportation, such that money is no longer usable on buses, trains etc.
There is a web service available to charge the card with money, with a provided card reader.
So I installed pcscd and got it to recognize the reader and get events from it
00000041 eventhandler.c:421:EHStatusHandlerThread() Card inserted into Gemalto PC Twin Reader
and iv'e installed the DoD certificates, loaded the module into firefox (a "Gemalto PC Twin reader" now appears in "security devices") but the site still does not recognize the reader... any thoughts on what might be helpful?
