Did you install the drivers? Do they state they are compatible with your OS?
– Eric F
Nov 26 at 20:19
There are no drivers available and not needed. Like I wrote, some time ago everything worked fine. I only had to sudo alsa force-reload.

Why down-voted? How many days you need to show efforts, what is unclear and please even if it is unimportant for the voter, for me it's very, very important to get this headphones to run!
– user3665647
Nov 27 at 3:44
snd-usb-audio
is the driver for the standard interface, unless the headphone needs a quirk, it should run out of the box. Things that could go wrong are (1) a change in the kernel driver, or a new quirk that doesn't work for your model (did you upgrade your kernel? From which version to which version?), or (2) hardware trouble of various kinds (will be hard to debug).
– dirkt
Nov 28 at 7:14
Thank you very much dirkt! You are right. Meanwhile I found out it's a kernel bug. Unfortunately the bugfixed version isn't compatible with NVIDIA driver. So I have to check out if I can patch my kernel.

Since 6 hours I searched the web and tried to get Bowers & Wilkins PX USB-headphones, wich worked fine before some updates, to work - without any success.

Did you install the drivers? Do they state they are compatible with your OS?
– Eric F
Nov 26 at 20:19
There are no drivers available and not needed. Like I wrote, some time ago everything worked fine. I only had to sudo alsa force-reload.

Why down-voted? How many days you need to show efforts, what is unclear and please even if it is unimportant for the voter, for me it's very, very important to get this headphones to run!

snd-usb-audio
is the driver for the standard interface, unless the headphone needs a quirk, it should run out of the box. Things that could go wrong are (1) a change in the kernel driver, or a new quirk that doesn't work for your model (did you upgrade your kernel? From which version to which version?), or (2) hardware trouble of various kinds (will be hard to debug).

Thank you very much dirkt! You are right. Meanwhile I found out it's a kernel bug. Unfortunately the bugfixed version isn't compatible with NVIDIA driver. So I have to check out if I can patch my kernel.
