How to fix GDBus.Error.org.freedesktop.GDBus.Error.ServiceUnknown:

0

The complete error message is below.

Failed to apply configuration;
GDBus.Error.org.freedesktop.GDBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The
nameorg.cinnamon.Settings.Daemon.XRANDR_2 was not provided by any
,service files(no period)

I have no idea what caused this. But, now I can't change screen resolution on any of the distros I have installed on this PC. Right now I'm on Ubu Studio 18.04 with my desired 1024 x 768. I was running Linux Mint-Cinamon 18.04 when this problem occured. The screen resolution went so large I couldn't read anything without a magnifing glass. This problem also affects Ubuntu 16.04 Dash. As far as "studio" I havn't checked yet--obviously.

Thanks, JF
