RDP embedded(fullscreen) into 2nd Desktop using Task View
I've tried various methods such as Virtual Monitor drivers and different Remote clients like Multiplicity, but all of them fell short or flat out didn't work.
I am not sure if this is a limitation of Task View/Extended Displays, or if I am just not seeing the big picture correctly to get this to work.
What I want to do is have my RDP Remote Desktop connection to my Windows VM on my server be permanently placed on my 2nd Desktop on my Surface Book 2. With a four finger swipe to the left, I can move over to my Windows VM and then swipe right back to my Surface Book OS with ease. Shadow, the new cloud gaming platform, has implemented this for their platform on Mac, to give you an example of what the functionality resembles.
Is their anyway to do this on Windows with RDP?
Currently, I have to open Remote Desktop and move the Remote Session over to my 2nd Desktop and Fullscreen the window everytime I want it to stick. It works ok right now, but it's not as seamless as I would prefer.
