Why VPN is safe if we need login? [on hold]

I want to purchase subscription of VPN, but I 'guess' that I need to login.
Assume I use a prepaid debt card to pay the subscription, but the VPN company will still link my login to my activity, isn't it? If that is the case, why will it safe?

Choose a VPN that doesn't keep logs.

Choose a VPN that can be paid anonymously, and one, where logs are not kept. Of course they could still keep logs even if they claim otherwise.

It all depends on how much you trust the VPN companies. You won't have access to their servers and offices to know what they are actually recording and sending to governments and other groups.
Many people think that trusting a foreign company that way is still better than trusting their own local ISP, because they assume that local companies are more likely to be used to spy on them directly.
