Is there anyway to keep the snap assist on a window even after it has gone fullscreen?

I am having a problem with Windows Snap Assist lately in that whenever an application goes fullscreen, such as when you fullscreen a video in YouTube, it makes it so that when you exit fullscreen mode, the window is no longer snapped to the side of my screen.



It appears physically at the left side of my screen, but is not snapped anymore.
