How to re-enable two-finger scrolling with Wayland

Recently I switched to Wayland, to hopefully stop the intermittent problem I had with all my application windows going black. The going black problem started when I upgraded to 18.04.01 (from 16.04.01).

Anyway, I have not seen the black windows yet since switching, but switching to Wayland also disabled two-finger scrolling on the touchpad. Settings for the touchpad shows two-finger scrolling enabled (and edge scrolling disabled), but two-finger scrolling is not honored. Any ideas how to make this work with Wayland?

Thanks,
Paul
