I have Linux Mint Tara and Sony vaio.
I've tried updating grub with GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="atkbd.reset=1 i8042.nomux=1 i8042.reset=1 i8042.nopnp=1 i8042.dumbkbd=1" and sudo update-grub

as well as reinstalling drivers
sudo apt-get install xserver-xorg-input-all
but nothing helps. After resuming from sleep, touchpad works, but the keyboard does not.
