Decrypt DVD to an ISO image on command-line

I want to decrypt a CSS encrypted DVD and get a plain ISO image as a result - using only command-line tools under Linux.

I know of dvdbackup, but it generates a file tree, not a (decrypted) copy of the ISO image. K3B and Brasero can create a decrypted ISO image by calling "Copy" with an ISO image as target. But I could not find out whether and how they call command-line tools to achieve that.
