Moving Windows Partition to SSD keeping Ubuntu on HDD
So I have a Toshiba 1TB HDD on my Dell Inspiron 15 7559 which came with Windows 10 pre installed and I went ahead and installed Ubuntu 18.04. I'm buying a Samsung Evo 860 250 GB SSD now and thought of moving only Windows partition as I thought I could not move both partitions on it due to space constraints.(Windows C drive has a size of about 190 GB now and Ubuntu is allocated a size of 60 GB in total).
Is it a good idea to rather move both Ubuntu and Windows on SSD along with Windows Apps? If yes, how do I do it?
If I'm moving only windows partition to SSD, how do I do it? I saw Samsung Migration software being used online but want to know if I'll have to configure GRUB again to get everything working again later.
boot dual-boot grub2 ssd windows-10
