VMs not reaching devices on same subnet

0

I have a VM server that should communicate with IP cameras on the same subnet. I can ping both the servers and the cameras, but they can't ping each other.

I can ping any device from the router (OpnSense), as well as from my desktop.

If I put the VM server on a different VLAN/subnet, it works fine.

But what am I missing that packets are being dropped between VM<->Device on the same subnet?
