ACER aspire 5750g new SSD not detected in Bios
I just installed a new SSD in the DVD slot and everything is fine, I just initialized and all, then I tried to install a Linux Distro that went ok. But when I tried to boot, my ssd is not recognized at all, not even in the BIOS, same thing when I tried with Windows.
Should I format my HDD after cloning the OS on the SSD or I can try something else?

If it isn't recognized at BIOS (or UEFI) then 1) nothing was installed there and 2) there's nothing you can do from either OS. Please check the connections or the adapter itself.
