Squid ACL by fqdn erorr
hello help to deal with the settings suqid proxy
i am build squid whith --enable--ssl for filtering https traffic
i am configure acl
I need to go online to only one site from the local network
in /etc/squid.conf
acl localnet src 192.168.1.0/24
acl white_lst dstdomian steam.com
http_access allow locanet white_lst
http_access deny all
when i try to connect steam.com
squid connected
but that access is prohibited on his ip adress
and when you whrite ip to acl
nslookup steam
Name: steam.com
Address: 69.36.241.237
in /etc/squid.conf writen
acl white_lst dstdomian steam.com 69.36.241.237
why it is necessary to add ip address ?
