How can I create a book with mixed Chinese, English, and illustrations?
I am working on a book I want to publish so that Chinese text, English text, and illustrations are made available and at least the English text is available electronically to read. (I am presently intending to portray Chinese text as pictures because Unicode support is backwards on this point.)
I am starting up with Amazon's Kindle Comic Creator and possibly Calibre.
How can I make Kindle and paperback books that will have images, presumably including rendered Chinese characters, work together with English text and have a readable Kindle eBook that can see the English parts of my book?
Thanks,

I don't know that Comic Creator tool, but I don't see why any document editor couldn't manage English and Chinese text in the same document. What have you tried? What issue you faced?

There's nothing inherent to the creation of books preventing you from doing so. If a given product does not support this ability, just choose a different product.
