How to create volatile/ephemeral user account for public computer

0

Now that Guest Accounts were removed in 18.04, what's the official/recommended way to create sessions that don't persist what a user does or downloads? I am trying to setup a laptop with xubuntu 18.04 to be used in a public cafe. If no official way, are there any projects or apps in the repos that could do this?

I saw the option to re-enable guest accounts using LightDM but running the account uncontained is a deal breaker for me
