I would like to create a new python2.7 environment using anaconda. My base version has 3.5. Even after creating a right environment with python 2.7,it still shows the base version i.e.3.5
Could you please help me in this? I have tried all the commands for creating the env but failed. I would appreciate your help. Thanks
I have tried conda

conda create -n myenv python=2.7

but after doing this the myenv version is still 3.5
