Isolating a machine with a network proxy
I have two virtual machines on a VMWare ESXi 6.0 host:
- a proxy machine running Ubuntu 18.04 server
- a machine I want to isolate behind the previously mentioned proxy.
(see this diagram (png) for more information)
The problem is: the proxy working correctly but I still cannot reach the World Wide Web from the isolated machine. The only host I am able to ping is 192.168.0.20
(the proxy). This is most likely an error the network configuration of the isolated VM, but I cannot figure it out. All help is appreciated!
