What is the meaning of the words with underline in a man page?
For most commands that I have seen, there are some underlined words in their man
page. What is the meaning of this underline? Is that a link? If yes, how we can go there?

"The underline is just a highlight, there is no "link" involved. The normalman
page reader is just a text formater. In factman
doesn't even display the text,man
just formats it and sends it to another text display program to be shown on the screen (usuallyless
). These programs have no concept of links."

also from man man page
italic text replace with appropriate argument.
[-abc] any or all arguments within [ ] are optional.
-a|-b options delimited by | cannot be used together.
argument ... argument is repeatable.
[expression] ... entire expression within [ ] is repeatable.
Exact rendering may vary depending on the output device. For instance,
man will usually not be able to render italics when running in a termi‐
nal, and will typically use underlined or coloured text instead.
