libreoffice with no hyphenation

0

I installed ubuntu 18.04 on my laptop, after I had upgraded RAM and changed HD with SSD.
Previously there was linuxmint (Tessa).
Now hyphenation doesn't work at all. I checked on libreoffice.org and on wiki.ubuntu.com and... here.

I tried to reinstall libreoffice after

sudo apt-get remove --purge libreoffice*
sudo apt-get clean
sudo apt-get autoremove

Then I tried this

libreoffice-l10n-fr
myspell-fr
hyphen-fr
mythes-fr
libreoffice-help-fr

(not the same language, but the same procedure).

So I sudoed like this

libreoffice-l10n-fr ; myspell-fr ; hyphen-fr ; mythes-fr ; libreoffice-help-.fr

My libreoffice writer documents are not hyphenated and I don't see any language in settings apart from english US.

I like ubuntu and... keyboardshortcuts for workspaces (for example) are unbelievably beautiful and smart for a working environment as mouse free as possible.

PS I am sorry for my long story... but what I don't understand is the difference between two versions of libreoffice, which are the same for both the distros (linuxmint Tessa and ubuntu 18.04 lts)

libreoffice
Version: 6.0.7.3
1:6.0.7-0ubuntu0.18.04.2

Thank you in advance.

I do not understand what you mean by "I tried this..."and "I sudoed like this..."These are packages you are not supposed to run them as commands in the terminal. If you go to Libreoffice Options --> Language Settings --> Writing aids, is there Libhyphen Hyphenator available? Also: Have you tried tools --> Language --> Hyphenation in Libreoffice Writer?
