Limiting the times my wireless network is open and available.
I have an HP PC with a linksys wireless network. My son has a laptop that he uses for gaming and stays up all night gaming on it. Is there anyway I can have my linksys network shut down for certain hours? I don't need the network after, say 9 pm, and he typically plays games from 10- til godonlyknowswhen. Thanks in advance. :)

Thanks, but that's blocking from the main computer. I can't block his laptop and I don't have access to his laptop. He's 17, bought it with his own money and has a pw on it. :) I just want to limit my network (linksys) times.

I think you are misreading the article; it tells you how to access your router using Linksys Connect to restrict the hours that specific systems are allowed to access the internet -- which seems to be exactly what you asked. In any case, please add the model information of your specific Linksys router. Many have this type of feature built in, though it's possible that you'll need a different router (one that lets you set hours for connected systems) if yours doesn't have the feature or doesn't work with Linksys Connect.
