Torrent seeding problem

0

I have a problem with torrent seeding. I am using qBitTorrent (however I tried Transmission too) and I am not able to seed me torrents, I mean the application shows me that it is seeding but there is no uploading whatsoever at all. I've tried port forwarding, although I am not sure if I set it up correctly. If I am testing the port with Transmission it is said that the port is closed. With Windows (same machine) everything is fine, I do not even have to set the port forwarding in the router. There are machines I can see that Can anybody help me please how to open a port and how to set the port forwarding correctly?

  • Port forwarding, if needed, is set at the router. And if there are no peers wanting what you're seeding then it won't upload.

  • I forgot to mention that with Windows there is no problem, it is seeding just fine. There are peers I can see. :(

  • When you forget important information you should edit the question to add it. The information you just posted in comments is important if it's the same machine in the same network. Otherwise it's irrelevant.

  • Looks like one of your changes blocked the port. Carefully undo the changes you made when you "set up" port forwarding.
