Notebook won't boot into Windows unless EFI device manually selected
I have a bit older Packard Bell notebook (EN TV43HC) for repair, after reinstalling Windows it won't boot after restart unless I select the EFI device in the boot menu. Regular powering off isn't an issue. I cannot upgrade the BIOS beyond 1.13, and the BIOS itself doesn't have secure boot option , and the boot list doesn't specify EFI devices.
