  • Disable window grouping in Dock on Ubuntu 17.10/18.04

    1 answer

Is there any way in Ubuntu 18.04 that windows of the same application can be opened with each window having its own icon in the Dock, i.e. if you open Firefox twice that makes two separate Firefox icons in the Dock and not a single Firefox icon with little black triangle(s) indicating that there are multiple Firefox windows open at the same time?

Some solution exist in Gnome Tweak Tool with extension Dash to Panel: https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/1160/dash-to-panel/

If you agree use Dash to Panel you can find in Dash to Panel setting tab Behavior where you can switch Ungroup applications:enter image description here
